I have a anesthesia doctor on the hook. I use medisoft v17 for billing. I haven't done billing for this speciality. Someone told me you need special software module for billing anesthia b/c for hte base unit+ time unit * confersion factor. Is this right? I want to do this billing. But I've been getting mixed reviews. Some say it's easy and a great speciality to get into, other's make it seem like it's so complicated. HELP!

I'm not sure about Medisoft V17 but most softwares allow for anesthesia billing.  I have done some and used my regular PM system (Lytec) without any special module.  I'm sure they have modules out there that may make things easier.  I manually calculated the units.
