% billing
QueenAlicia:
Yes, and that stupid catch phrase "we don't get paid until you get paid" is used as well. So you work and work and don't get paid until they get paid? How do you pay your employees (if you have any) and how do you pay your bills? I need to get paid for my time and everybody knows if they worked in an office they would expect payment from their employer and would not sit around a month for their paycheck. If you sit around a month or two without a paycheck then you are crazy.
Michele:
Hey where were all you guys back then? We could have used the support. ;D Just kidding! And I do believe Linda was there then. ;)
PMRNC:
I have been watching the % billing/fee splitting laws for years. More and more states are adopting some sort of regulations regarding fee-splitting.. also remember the OIG has been against this type of billing for years.
Mrs.Billier:
Linda - You wrote "The next thing you do is deduct your expenses FOR THAT CLIENT: Clearinghouse, postage, phone, fax, ink, claim forms, envelopes etc. Let's make that expense $350 $1500-$350 =$1150 DONE."
So you don't charge for expenses? I just thought I would ask for clarification because this is precisely where I am at right now.
PMRNC:
Good catch!!! That should be "ADD" expenses!!!
