FQHC
« on: July 20, 2012, 04:53:42 PM »
We are a Federally Qualified Health Center and we bill Medicare Part A for our office visits in a UB04 format and all xrays, labs and inpatient hospital visits we bill Medicare Part B FFS.  My question is, I have a charge for a G0402 (Welcome to Medicare Preventative Visit) and a G0403 ECG for IPPE, can those both be billed to Part A or should the ECG be billed to Medicare Part B FFS?

For normal physician offices they would go to Part B but we are an FQHC and we bill National Government Services for our office visits.

Sorry but I'm not sure.  Not familiar with FQHC billing.  :(
