Intraoperative Spinal Monitoring Billing Question
« on: September 05, 2012, 03:13:09 PM »
How can we get more money in for these services?  They are in the OP Notes, we create a CMN for each case, include the procedure report and still are not getting but a small return on this?  I need a fresh pair of eyes...what am I missing? Any suggestions to try?

Billing: 95920, 95925, 95926, 95861

Not enough info to even begin to help but I have to say, the way you word the question will scare most away from answering.  Coding should not be done to "get more money for these services".  Coding should be done to accurately describe the services provided.  However, I'm suspecting that you are receiving denials or that all services aren't being allowed and you are wondering if the coding is correct.  But with the info you provided no one would be able to tell.
