Nurse practitioner billing modifier for Medicare claims

how we can bill Medicare for Nurse practitioner, we know the SA modifier can’t be used for Medicare, hence we looking for best solutions.

The NP should be credentialed with Medicare, then you bill under their name & individual NPI as the rendering.

QueenAlicia:
Is there a guide or list of CPT codes that would apply to a NP practice or would it just generally be Family Practice codes?

Michele:
NP's use same codes as MD's.
