Medicare reimbursement rate decreases affect private insurer decreases?

So for 2013 Medicare is cutting EMG reimbursement by approximately 50%.  Should we expect most major med carriers to follow suit?  How long would that take for changes to major med to come into effect?

Anyone that thinks they are safe from Obamacare is a fool...    http://www.insidepatientfinance.com/revenue-cycle-news/specialists-cry-foul-on-medicare-reimbursement-cuts/

DMK:
We're getting cut 24% and still have only 2 allowed procedure codes.  And Medicare patients require over double the time, paperwork, and follow up due to the complexity of their health conditions.

And it's all FREEEEE!!!! ;)  (I'm being snarky of course, I got a lovely letter from Anthem Blue Cross stating that "due to increased physician fees we're raising your rates 18.6%")  If I tighten my belt any more I'll be cut in half.

Hang on people, we are just hitting the early caps of the raging rapids.

PMRNC:
you are not kidding... BUCKLE up.. it's going to be a bumpy ride.
