I agree with others, a clearinghouse is MUCH MUCH more efficient. It will save a lot of times. The provider can still however submit their OTR's direct as my mental health providers do but I leave that clinical issue to the provider I don't get involved with that aspect short of a report showing which authorizations are going to be needed or extended.
