Medicaid Fee Schedule 2013

(1/2) > >>

James B:
We have a lot of Medicare patients but are non-par with Medicaid. The provider heard that their fee schedule was increased greatly and asked me to get the fee schedule for Connecticut. I am not having any luck on the CMS site. I am only able to find information on Medicare reimbursements. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Do you know that Medicare payments to doctors will be reduced 2% for Dates of Service starting on April 1, 2013?  Read this:

Thank you, Richard. That was helpful--I definitely prefer the MAC site. However, having never dealt with Medicaid before I am still confused by the difference between Medicaid and Medicare reimbursements. I know the difference between Medicare and Medicaid but I don't understand how to figure out Medicaid reimbursements. Every search for Medicaid brings me to Medicare. Thanks!

I think this is the page you need, but it seems that you need to create a provider account and log in.

From Page 2 of this link:

Accessing the Fee Schedule:

The updated fee schedule can be accessed and downloaded by going to the Connecticut Medical Assistance Program Web site: www.ctdssmap.com.

From this web page, go to “Provider”, then to “Provider Fee Schedule Download”, then to the appropriate “Physician” fee schedule. To access the CSV file press the control key while clicking the CSV link, then select “Open”.

For questions about billing or if further assistance is needed to access the fee schedule on the Connecticut Medical Assistance Program web site, please contact the HP Provider Assistance Center, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 1-800-842-8440

Thank you very much, Richard. I really appreciate it.

Perhaps if I had added Husky (that's what they call state insurance here in CT, now) to Medicaid Fee Schedule in my original internet search I could have found this  ;)
