Pulse Oximeter/Oxygen Sat charge

There seems to be some confusion to billing Pulse Oximeter charges for Medicare/ HMO inpatients for the critial access hospital I work for. Can anyone answer, this question. How many Pulse Oximeter charges can an inpatient have in a stay or per day and how many for Observation patients per day or stay?
