marketing how long to wait for a reply

(1/1)

isabelreyna:
I just send a wow package of my flyer and bussiness cards to 100 Dr's but how long should i wait to send another package?

PMRNC:
You don't mention what is in these packages, your experience or anything really to give us an idea, however direct mail is still only a 1% return. I would do larger mailings using different methods, batches of 100 is fine but I would say you need to get out 500-1000 to really expect a return. And of course WHAT your mailing is important too.

Just a note of caution on mailings. Beware of buying a mailing list...even from a company with membership in the Better Business Bureau. I paid over $350.00 for a mailing list of 500 names of doctors in my state with less than 3 years in the business, in 1-3 Doctor clinics. The Doctors' names were correct, but 80% of the mailing address's were large and medium hospitals, and former mailing address's with no current address available. The phone book was more accurate than the list I was sold, and they would not refund my $$ ! >:(

I agree but I think we've all made that mistake a few years ago.

Christy:
yep! I once got a solicitation from a medical billing company...it was addressed to MY billing company, lol! Likely because my business name contains the word "Medical."
