The state exchanges are supposed to be setup by 10/1/2013. I predict we will see a delay. The carriers are dropping out of the exchanges like flies.

Hi Linda,
Would you please elaborate a bit more on the bolded portion of your post above. Thank you very much. I have heard of the HMO switching to EPO, but nothing on dropping out.
PMRNC:
Many of the carriers in quite a few states are not opting to go into the exchanges, mainly because they can't meet the plan mandates and premium rates.

There is alot of talk about the tax credits with Obamacare, but thats all, just talk. Does anyone know where I can find more information on this?

I don't remember the left hand knowing what the right hand is doing since Obama took office. There are actually several proposed ways in which these subsidy's will be distributed. The one that makes the most sense will be the one where they will send the money direct to the insurance companies. Those who qualify for these subsidy's will NOT receive checks, they are exactly that.. "credits" "subsidies". There is alot of talk about the tax credits with Obamacare, but thats all, just talk. Does anyone know where I can find more information on this?
Of course all this is supposed to be in place in just 3 more weeks LOL ::) :o :o

Obamacare calculates the ACA’s impact on the average reward to working among nonelderly household heads and spouses. The law increases marginal tax rates by an average of five percentage points (of employee compensation), on top of the marginal tax rates that were already present before the it went into effect....Measured in percentage points, the Affordable Care Act will, by 2015, add about twelve times more to average marginal labor income tax rates nationwide than the Massachusetts health reform added to average rates in Massachusetts following its 2006 statewide health reform.
