Affordable Care Act Mandates for Mental Health Providers

Hi guys, just wanted to know if there are any ACA mandates specifically for Mental Health providers? I keep hearing that case notes have to be done in electronic format beginning Jan 1st, however I can't find anything official.

No, the only exceptions are in regards to EHR and psychotherapy notes.
The ACA will not differentiate between a mental health provider or any other. You should review contracts and patient up front collection practices as any other provider would be with the ACA.
