NPI number for billing service

I just came across your website and I really like it.  I want to start my own billing service after doing medical billing for 20 years.  I would like to purchase your book and I wanted to know if it is available at any of the bookstores?  In the mean time can you tell me if I need an NPI number as a billing service?

Medical billing services do not need an NPI number.  Only the providers who are actually providing the service need them.
