--- Quote ---Regarding the contracts, BAA Agreements, compliance plan, policies/procedures, pricing structure, etc.,who could I hire to type all of this up for a reasonable price, because I'm really not good at that part of the spectrum? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. :)

I don't recommend hiring out for this at all. This is your business, meaning your compliance, your policies/procedures, contracts, agreements, etc. Yes, it is all overwhelming but putting these together is only making the actual compliance "official".. just typing them up is a formality that comes last.

I understand that we would need a contract signed from each provider that we are working with, but I was wondering if someone could clarify who would sign the BAA. Would this include let's say cleaning staff, if we have an office or let's say if we use Office Ally's Practice Mate, they would have to sign a BAA?
Michele:
Anyone with access to your office would need to sign a BAA. Cleaning staff would fall into that category. Office Ally has a BAA that they have you sign when you initially set up with them.
PMRNC:
It's actually anone with access to any PHI. Covered entity's hold the BAA of the BA.
