I am trying to figure out if there is a need for practice management software and a clearinghouse . Isn't there not an all inclusive system that can be utilized?

If the clients you get do not already have software and a clearinghouse in place that you can remotely log-in to, and are not interested in getting their own software with help from you in choosing it/setting it up, then yes, you will need to get your own. Some programs are both EMR/PM all in one, with different clearinghouses to choose from, others are one or the other.
