Blue Card address for Cailf

(1/2) > >>

Billing2:
I've just started billing for a new provider Chiro in California. The old billing company will not hand over any old info and used her own software. ( I read the post Richard wrote about this issue. It was very helpful.)

I'm working on getting all the client info in to the new system, but I can't find an address for out of state blue cross claims. If anyone has one I would be very thankful.

Merry:
In CA as you know we have BX and Blue Shield and they both cover facility and professional billing. it is unique to CA and one other state but i dont know which is the other state. . I would think that perhaps customer service at the clearinghouse may be able to help. Or Richard may know,as he is on CA also.

This is what we use for out of state (CA) Blue Cross and Blue Cross / Blue Shield:

Blue Cross
P.O. Box  1505
Red Bluff, CA   96080-1505

Blue Cross at P.O. Box 60007 will sometimes tell you to send the out-of-state Blues to them.  But, when you do, they just turn around and send it to the address I listed above.  Cut out the middle man and just send the out-of-state Blues to Red Bluff.

Come back with any other questions.

Where are you, by the way?

Billing2:
Thank you so much. They did tell me to send to them, but did not think that was right. That is way I love this site.:)

I'm in Oregon now. All but one office I work with is in NJ.  I'm leaning what I can for Calif. I'm only doing this one office for there. It was a referral I got from a friend.

RichardP:
Just out of curiousity - how do you do the work?  Do you dial into the New Jersey computers?  Or do you use your own software?  How do you get the work?  FedEx?  UPS?

Some details on how you conduct business is going to spark the imagination of someone passing by here months from now.
