Medicare and Medicaid NY

I am getting conflicting answers. Please help.  Does Medicaid pay for Medicare deductible?  Also, if patient has a PPO/HMO Medicare Policy and Medicaid as a secondary, can you charge them the co-payment on their Medicare card?  Thanks

Medicaid will pay if applied to the Medicare deductible but only up to the Medicaid allowed amount.  You can bill Medicaid for the copay, just not the 20% straight Medicare coinsurance.

PMRNC:
Agree with Michele also, Medicaid follows Medicare in NY.. so if it's NOT covered by Medicare, Medicaid won't cover either.
