Teletherapy Billing

PsychBiller:
I am seeking some guidance from any billers who currently bill for Teletherapy (specifically 90834 with a GT modifier), for any psychologists in the state of Georgia.

I have been able to ascertain that it is a covered benefit through insurance, however, I want to hear from anyone who has had success with getting claims paid.

Some carriers will pay for it..but they want medical necessity for not being able to be in the office.  You'll also need authorization for most of the carriers.
