testosterone injection

Hi,

What code would you use for Medicare if you are providing the injection only.  The patient brings in the serum.

You would use the cpt code for the injection only.  Take a look at 96372.  That may be the code that is appropriate.  We bill for the same scenario but the patient doesn't have Medicare.

PMBS:
Yes, that is the code I was using and MEdicare will not pay for it..
