Background Check

Greetings and happy Friday to all,

I am in discussion with a potential mental health provider who has asked me for a background check.  Has any biller been requested to have this done before?

No, I have never had a provider request that before.

Did they say why they are requesting that?  Have they had a previous problem?  I'm just thinking that you don't have access to their money right?  So I'm not sure what a background check would show.
