For those who have used Availity, What format are you using to send claims thru Availity?  Availity told me that they do not accept a Text file or "Print Image".  They only accept raw ANSI files.

We haven't sent claims through Availity in several years but when we did it was ANSI.  Office Ally and Claim.MD both accept txt files.

Hi Michelle,

How do you download ERAs from ClaimMD to your non integrated system? Are you able to post these eras electronic in your PM system?

Thank you

Yes, we download the 835s and then we are able to autopost.  We are using Lytec and Revenue Manager (the autoposting system in Lytec) allows us to autopost.  I'm a huge fan of autoposting.  We wouldn't be able to do what we do without out it!

I thought you asked "if" but when I looked back you asked "how".

We download the ERAs the same as we did with Office Ally.  We download them into the folder that our PM system uses to autopost.  It works exactly as it did with OA.  Are you having trouble?

Michelle, I am going to sign up with Claim MD. I have not tried 835 yet but my PM vendor said that it is very common format so should not have issues in auto posting.

Thanks.

Wait, let me get this straight...!? Office Ally wants to increase their fees, but their site is constantly crashing. Pathetic excuses like... "we're having server problems and we are aware of the situation..." and then them shutting off their support at the call-in level, because they damn well know they can't scale their IT operations properly. Give me a break!

Wow, we used them for years and had very few issues.  I wonder if this is something recent.  Good thing we switched when we did!

And you should be thankful. It's unbelievable to me, that large and they have this stuff on bad servers. Ooof!

I never liked them to begin with.. found it very blah and basic. But I don't hear too many complaints on functionality from any of our members.

BINGO! It looks like something from the early 90's. The usability is HORRENDOUS!
