DC Medicaid clams for Maryland Provider

Short story- Maryland clinical psychologist seeing DC Medicaid resident and billing from the Maryland office.  Visits have been approved and authorized. Provider has a DC Medicaid provider PTAN. We are sending the claims electronically to electronic payer ID 77002- AmeriHealth Caritas who handles the mental health claims for DC Medicaid. Regardless of how we send them, electronically or on paper to -  P.O BOX 7342 London, KY 40742-77002 - they do not make it into the insurance system.  Has anyone run into this? And what did you do?

I haven't run into this particular problem but have you contacted DC Medicaid to verify where the claims for a MD provider should be submitted?  I would start with that.  The issue may be that it is an out of state/area provider submitting the claim.  Maybe it has to go to a different place.

Yes - thank you. We have verified where the claims are to go. And have set up the enrollment for electronic filing. b.
