Is something particular, special or different about billing for indigent services versus...say physician or hosptial billing?

Not really sure what your asking.. like a free clinic or something? Health care providers have to follow financial hardship guidelines. If you could be more specific with what your asking, perhaps we can help.

I just got a little more information myself. I applied for that I thought was a traditional medical billing position. When I read the description, it read the responsibility was to administer direct physician payments. I have never done this except for a large company like BCBS of MS. I am wondering if anyone can guide me to some more detailed information on performing this type of work like what to expect, what type of software is used to accomplish it, possible training.....
