Any suggestions for marketing for out of area providers (ones I can not go to in person)? I have a lot of providers who have contacted me for other services who are out of the area and I would like to market to them for their billing business.
I think I do better at other marketing avenues besides in person anyway and I would like to hone my skills for this type of marketing. Cold calling?, letters, postcards, flyers, faxing etc. Anything that has proven to work for you would be much appreciated (tips, tricks, techniques etc). I really would like to begin markting by end of December so I can try to pick up a new client by end of January.
Thanks!

The only out of area marketing I've done was web based. But I would think the same marketing techniques that work in you area (other than in person ones) would have similar results out of the area. I know a lot of other members have mentioned doing mailings, followed with phone calls. That would work for in or out of your area. Maybe starting there. We have found that the beginning of January is a good marketing time. Many providers do a lot of 'thinking' around the new year and decide that they should do things differently this year!
Good luck

Michelle, I am about to get it fired up now. I have my 6 months in for client reimbursements. I have one of my DME clients who had claims from July that they were billing, but didn't know how. She has been getting her reimbursements now for the AFO/KAFO's and the MD is pleased pleased pleased. I am ugrading my website to include the testimonials, getting my referal list together and will be starting my newsletter and my consultants corner as well. Its about to BLOW UP!!!
