Hi I was just wondering what types of things you should have on your report at the end of the month for the provider? I found a good software but I want to make sure I can make the reports I need.
Thank you.

We provide a report showing all activity for the month. It shows charges, payments, credits, etc. That is the only report we provide, but it covers everything.

I do the same. I also print out a report of physician referrals for the month.

We send three reports:
Pending Claims--all outstanding claims
Payment Report
Comments Report--all comments left on accounts regarding AR, appeals, problem claims, pt balances, etc. This is our providers' favorite report as it shows them that we are actively working on their accounts and keeps them in the loop with problem claims.

HI,
I send a report listing all income entered into my software for the month, a "pt phonebook" showing each active client and their phone numbers (they can keep this with them quick reference to call clients), an aging report which lists what clients and insurance co's owe (if it's over 60 days I make a note as to what is being done ie:being reprocessed, etc.) and a list of what auths are running out ( actually find this helps me so that I can enter eveything as needed and not have to hold things out if the auth has run out). My software has these reports in them all I have to do is enter date ranges, etc.
