I have a question for Cross-Coding. Do you need an MD on file for a General Dentistry for night guards? I ask this question because it is my understanding that there's many different types of Migraine Headaches, and only an MD would be able to tell the difference between the level of type/pain of a migraine headaches.
Thanks!

Are you trying to get the night guard paid for under medical insurance?

Yes and other procedures. I do Chiropractic billing but I now have a Prosthodontic who wants me to do his medical billing.

I do not believe you need an MD but the dental provider needs to be set up on the medical side of insurance to receive reimbursement. Then it will be dependent upon each plan and policy.
