Can the physician see patients from home? Not telehealth but in person?
Also what is the rule about them seeing family if another provider is available

I know they can do home visit in the patient home this was the physician seeing a patient in the physicians home

I think this is the first time I've come across this. I actually took my daughter to her pediatrician's home once on a Sunday (he requested) but he didn't bill for it. I think you could bill with POS 12 and put the drs home address in box 32. I do not know if this is ok, but I can't see why it wouldn't be.

No. The doctor cannot see patients at his / her residence unless it is listed as one of their service locations. We cannot use POS 12. I don't have an answer for the question on how to bill. But I am sure we cannot report his residence as the POS.
