Beacon Health Strategies and Value Options recently "completed" their merger  ::)

Before the merger, BHS went to one payer ID and VO to another payer ID and it worked great!

Now, they have a unified payer ID- FHC&Affiliates...but Office Ally does not have that payer ID!  BHO states to submit claims as usual and the clearinghouses are "working on it."

The VO claims process just fine.  But the BHS claims end up on the old E Services site and just lag there...a few trickle over to the VO Provider Connect and get paid, but only a few.

The reps at BHO are not helpful- they are confused.

any fellow NY MH billers encountering this?

thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We bill NY MH through OA but have not experienced a problem yet.  But most of ours are VO, not BHO.

Yes, that is what we have been using and I'm not seeing any issues, yet.......  :)

thanks, Michelle.

we were still using the BHS payer ID 43324 because all the letters about the merge stated "don't do anything different as far as E claims"   some actually carried from the 43324 to VALOP on their own so we thought all was good.  But now not carrying over and I will resub via VALOP
