I'm a still a little confused:
senario: john doe was seen for 78452, 93015, A9500, A9505, J2785
i received a fee slip to bill as follw..
78452 both tc and pc
93015 no modifier
medication charge
A9500 Sestamibi/Cardolite: both tc and pc
A9505 Thallium : both tc and pc
should I bill like mentioned above or
Is the correct way to bill like this: 78452 TC, 93015, A9500 , A9505 and J2785
the only one with a mod is 78452 then once the test is read.. bill 78452 26
is this correct to say that medication charges have to be billed globally?

I'm confused too, if they are doing both the TC and the PC (26) why are they not just billing the code with no modifier to indicate global? Is it because the test wasn't read at the same time?
-
yes, the test is being read later. the medication have to be billed w/o any modifers, is this correct?
-
I've never used modifiers on the Medication.
