I have a doctor that did Cryo on a lesion last week (just telling me now).  He just did another one on the same patient, same lesion.  Say likely another session will be needed.  Do you bill for each session?  I am a 30 years Ortho biller, first time billing cryo, need any help you can give!

What is the CPT code you are using?

I am not a certified coder but cpt code 17000 has a global period of 10 days so I believe if it is performed again 7 days later on the same lesion it may not be covered.
