Getting a denial stating ndc code must be 11 digits. Im confused as this is not a drug but admin fee
-
Is the 96372 the only code on the claim?
-
no Im putting in the cpt code for the office visit, meds, and then the injection. But the claim is rejecting stating the ndc # is in correct for the injection.
-
The NDC code would be required for the meds. What meds are being injected?
-
Yes but it is rejecting for wrong ndc # for 96372 which is the admin fee cpt code not the ndc on the meds
-
Is the whole claim rejecting? Is the NDC number on the claim for the meds that were given?
-
Not the whole claim just the 96372 because of invalid NDC #. The NDC # for the med was submitted. The ov and med was paid for

OK, what insurance is it? I looked back thru the thread and that's not mentioned. It sounds to me like it is most likely a commercial carrier. I would call because that sounds like a processing error on their end. The 96372 is the administration of the injection so it (obviously) doesn't need or have an NDC.

Have you spoken to a live person? I would call. The denial doesn't make sense.
