What are some services/tools you use to check for active coverage information for patients or missing addresses?
For example, some of the patient's our docs see in the hospital, the insurance information the hospital has for them is incorrect, or when we send a patient statement we get a return to sender since the address was incorrect.
I've heard Experian / Transunion/ and Availty have tools that help you find active coverage for demographics. Does anyone have any experience with these or have other advice on how to handle such situations?

It depends on the type of insurance they have. For example, Medicare patients we use Connex. Any insurances that we have direct logins for their websites we will use their websites. We also use our clearinghouse, or Availity.
