Needing some guidance. My mental health provider (mft) just took on an intern. She has an individual NPI right now. Does she need to apply for a group NPI in order to bill for her intern? Her intern is seeing clients the need a denial to then send to the secondary (partnership) to be paid. Or can we keep using the individual NPI of the provider?
