Hello Everyone,
My name Mike, I’m new to the industry, myself and a colleague are thinking about starting a billing company, our experience is in the staffing business with has taking a hard hit. We have interviewed experienced billers about join us. My question is. Is this a lucrative industry, has it been saturated, what is the real earning potential.
I just saw a billing company for sale in NJ – price is 1.5Mil, Started in 2004, billing $50,000,000 annually

Hi Mike,
I personally don't think that the market is saturated, with good billing services anyway. It can certainly be lucrative, but it is not a "get rich quick" business. It takes a lot of hard work.
As for the service for sale in NJ, I would be more interested in what their annual expenses are in addition to what they bill out. If their expenses are $51,000,000 annually, then the $50,000,000 doesn't look so good.
Good luck
Michele
