Since the MMR outbreak we have been running titers on those who feel they are at risk for exposure, we finally had a person's test show they needed a vaccination. However, my issue is that this person has Medicare. Pharmacies side of insurance will not cover the vaccination. I worry that the medical side will also deny because of her age. Has anyone had this issue come up and can give me some advice?

Vaccines are supposed to be covered by Medicare part D. So I'm thinking if the pharmacy side denied it will be denied, but I'm not sure. I haven't billed for any.
