I started a billing company over a year ago and have had one client the entire time. I have slowly started marketing my company and offered on a "whim" a free analysis of a potential clients A/R and procedures. Would anyone like to share specifically what I should be looking at and if I am not familiar with the specialty - should I hire a independent person to come in with me for this type of Analysis?
Thanks
Eric

An A/R analysis would be the same for any specialty. You have to know how to do just a general overall analysis of the A/R. If you have to outsource this I would NOT offer it free. Free doesn't usually mean more clients. Also I don't know if your perceiving the $250 as a general ONE price for A/R but it should be a consulting type charge based on time and other variables. An A/R analysis for one provider might take an hour but for another maybe even a few days. I would not put a value on the service as a lump sum. JMHO
