Good Afternoon,

I have purchased the Introduction to Mental Health Billing course by Alice and Michele. Very Informative!  I would like to progress in this area and was wondering if there are any webinars or online courses to advance my knowledge base further?

Hi Sue,

I'm thinking you purchased our book, Intro to MH Billing.  Glad it was helpful.  We do also have several online courses as well.  What is your background and what are you looking to get into?

Hi Michele,

Yes, I have taken atleast 1 class of yours as well as purchased on line books. As for my background, I am a nurse involved in skilled nursing part A auditing/reimbursement.   I have taken review classes for the aapc CPB and CPC; soon to take certification exam for CPB.  In addition to the auditing, I like to carry 1 or 2 clients for billing.  I had a recent conversation with a clinical psychologist and am exploring a venture into mental health billing. I would like to obtain as much exposure, knowledge and experience in the mental health arena as possible.   

Any recommendations you could make would be greatly appreciated.

Sue,

Sounds like you have a great foundation!  We are actually currently doing a two day training with a girl in a similar position.  She has done a lot of auditing, has a little billing background, is a certified coder, and wants to get into billing.  What information specifically do you want to know more of?  Actual billing practices?  Or more business stuff like contracts and marketing?
