I was working in a billing company, and i did the billing for a family practice. I would like to know if anyone has an idea how a referral should look and on which points to stress on?
-
specifically what kind of referral?
-
A referral which the dr. for whom I did the billing for several years is referring other providers to use me as their biller.

Not sure what you mean by a "sample" this really is a company/business preference on how you want to handle those types of referrals. There's really no "specific" sample/guideline. Many times I just do a verbal or put note on back of a biz cards my providers pass out.

I agree, not really a sample. A referral is when the provider writes a commercial for you praising you for what you've done for them. Sometimes the provider will ask you to write something up and they will sign.
