: PIP fclaims for Chiropractor

I am trying to get a checklist together for a chiro office that I bill for to make sure they get everything from PI patients before we start treating and then are left blowing in the wind most time.  They have a lien they make them sign, but should they have the atty sign one also?  I have seen a couple site that recommend this, but no experience with it.

I would appreciate any feedback about what you request the office gets from the patient regarding medpay, atty info, etc.

Thanks!

If there is an attorney on the case I have my clients get what's called a "Letter of Protection"  AKA:  LOP
Doesn't speed up the process, PI cases drag on no matter what, it just reassures that they will get paid when case is settled or pmt received.
