: Billing for telehealth services across state lines

Looking for good resources to learn more about billing for nutrition services when patient and provider are in two different locations. More specifically what does my business need to do to provide that remote service in a state I do not have a brick and mortar location. Any recommendations?

During the pandemic, most insurances relaxed all rules on telehealth.  Starting in June, some are starting to reinstitute some of the rules prior to the pandemic.  I am not sure of any resources available.  I would start by contacting the major commercial carriers for your state.  I know that Medicare is continuing to allow telehealth at least until the end of 2021, but they are hoping to add some stipulations that they currently don't have.
