Please i need help? I am a biller that works for an orthopedic doctor and he is going to start doing some procedures in the office at a level 2 (OSR) and i don't know what code to bill for the office room and supplies?

We dont know what procedures were performed.
If you arent a coder and there is a significant and separate office visit, I suggest having your doctor code for an evaluation and management level.
Supplies used may be included in the procedure or office visit.

If the provider is not established as an ASC, or a facility of some sort he may not be able to bill for the office room and supplies. Office procedures include those charges. But if he is established as a facility then the office room & supplies needs to be billed on a UB04 form with rev codes.

In addition, if your Dr is going to perform any procedures or services other than an Visit
ensure you are using Modifier 25 for the Visist with diagnosis pointer difference
Thanks
