I am researching medical billing software for our small office. We currently have 1 psychologist and one assistant with plans for a second psychologist to come on in the next several months. Billing is currently handled outside of the office. However, there is little to no follow up on invoices, and there is barely any record of who has paid or who has an outstanding balance. All insurance info is held either as photos of insurance cards on an I-Phone or on slips of paper. Definitely not the best way to be tracking things. Does anyone have any recommendations for software that might be good for a small office like ours that would be able to submit bills electronically, track payments, and store patient insurance info all in one place?
Thanks for your help.

I use TotalMD. It is extremely easy to use and very affordable. I've used quite a few different programs over the years but TotalMD has them all beat. Check them out.

TotalMD was one of 5 companies we previewed for our software interviews. http://www.billerswebsite.com/softwareQ&A%201.htm They got a lot of good feedback. I took the companies suggested by our subscribers with good feedback.
