Telethealth allergy shots
« on: May 29, 2020, 11:02:35 AM »
We had a patient that had a telehealth visit with our provider in the am.  That afternoon he came in to get his allergy shots.  Will the insurance pay for both or will they look at it that if they came in for the shots he could have done his visit in office?  Wondering if I should charge him a selfpay for the shots

I would bill them out.  Hard to say since these are unusual times.  But even if they deny you could send in an appeal explaining.
