Michele,
If you do some consulting with a provider and it may be a one time thing do you have them sign some sort of a contract
or agreement?

I've been doing primarily consulting for the last few years. I do a contract even if it's a short-term job.

even if a provider just called for a one time one hour consult, if so what do you put in this type of contract?

I guess it depends on what you are doing, I don't usually charge for a "consult" as that's when I usually go in and find out what they want done. I don't charge for that. It's only when I'm going to be actually doing something that I would implement a standard contract.

We also like to always have a contract, even when it is a small job.
