Hi, I am trying to figure out if, for a medical device, 99446-99449, 99451-99452 can be billed by a provider in addition to 99453, 99454, 99457 and/or 99458? Further, can 99446-99449 be billed in addition to Chronic Care Management codes 99487, 99490 + 99491?

The ultimate question: Can RPM, CCM and Interprofessional telephone/Internet assessment and management service codes be billed together for the same procedure?

Best,

Osserio

The question isn't really if they can all be billed together, but if they are reimbursed separately on the same date for the same procedure.  And that will vary from insurance carrier to insurance carrier and plan to plan.  RPM & interprofessional telephone/internet assessment and management are being done more now than ever so we are all learning what will/won't be covered.  CCM is commonly billed with E&M visits so I believe that will be ok, but I'm not sure if you can bill RPM & telephone/internet assessment and management will be allowed separately on the same date.
