aarp medicare complete telehealth

So far all the insurance we have billed for telehealth hasn't been a  problem.  But with some of our elderly we are having to do phone visits only, and are billing the regular em codes.  we are getting paid from all the insurances for these except Aarp medicare complete anyone else having this problem?  They are paying the video visits but not the phone visits

Pos 02 and modifier gq

We received an email advising us to use POS 11 for all UHC plans, even when it is telehealth.  Still use the telehealth modifier.  That may be the issue.

When the the visit was over video and billed 99213 pos 02 with 95 modifier they paid that one but not the one with the modifier gq.

Have you tried to contact them?  It may be that the system isn't allowing it, but it should be because CMS ordered that phone sessions be allowed during COVID19.

Finally got through to them.  All I was told was to rebill with the 95 and see if they would pay.  So we shall see
