Chiropractor billing Medicaid as secondary
« on: July 23, 2020, 01:50:09 PM »
Do we need to revalidate as a Medicaid provider if we never bill Medicaid directly? The only claims of ours that go to Medicaid are transferred from Medicare as secondary, as Medicaid does not cover chiropractic.

Thanks

Michele

It depends on if your state requires it.  NY requires that providers revalidate so the answer would be yes in NY.   :(  We have several providers who do not bill Medicaid but must be enrolled in order to be eligible for Medicaid Managed Care plans and we have to continue to revalidate them.
