Hello!
I Bill for Chiropractor's office, we're close a couple of days during the week. On days off massage therapist do mobile massages they usually get paid cash, but sometimes they are asked if the take insurance. The therapist are licensed and have insurance. They asked me if I could bill for them on my days off. My question is- Can I bill for Massage Therapist without using DX's?
thanks,
Celine

No. If you are billing insurance a dx is required. It comes from the referring Dr. Most insurances do not cover massage by LMT's. There are a few. Some states allow for workers comp or auto accidents. A few commercial insurances allow it. My insurance actually allows it because the LMT is employed by a DO and he oversees the care. But a dx is required.
