Have a question if anyone can help. I'm just getting started what would be the best potential clients?
I have experience in medical billing where I volunteered for DME and helped another billing company with internal medicine. What are some the easiest clients to land first?

Known devil is better than unknown devil:) so take up things that are your confident and comfortable with. On the flip side, I think such things shouldnt hold you from adding a new client in to your fold as its a constant learning and you should be fine in the days to come

DME is difficult. Few people can do a great job. If you know it well, go for it but I wouldn't limit my business. You should sell your experience.

Probably there is no easy way to get clients. Increasing your network with people having medical as their profession. Attending conferences may help you increase your network. Try to advertise your company as much as possible.

Thanks for the information!

You are most welcome dear. By the way, I just thought of adding something more to it. Since you are just beginning to provide services, you can try providing them to some local medical service providers. These may surely be low budget projects. But, you could easily help them improve their revenue collection methods and increase their standards as well. This would help you flaunt your capability and thus make it easier for you to get better and higher budget clients.
