If when calling a potential client and you use the term, I am a independent medical biller, is this a appropriate if you are a company?
Thanks

If you are setup as an independent contract that might be appropriate, however if you are a company I could see that misrepresenting yourself could cause some problems. I try to stay away from the term medical biller when I am speaking to a potential client, I instead use the terms "practice management" full practice management billing company, etc.

the word independent made me feel that maybe it is the wrong term when you have a company, someone told me they had a company and they would say they where a independent medical biller, and I see you point about using the term medical biller.
